How We Choose
We scoured popular and reputable prebuilt gaming PC manufacturers such as Dell, HP, iBuyPower, CyberPowerPC, and even the latest prebuilt gaming desktop PCs from companies that specialize in upgrades and customizations such as CUK (Computer Upgrade King).
After an extensive search, we came up with a long list of potential candidates, we then: examined the specs, compared them, and came up with the five best gaming PCs under $1,000.
How We Test
To give you an idea of how well these prebuilt gaming PCs performed, tests were made and benchmark results were recorded across a number of different games and platforms. We specifically picked popular games to give you an up-to-date reference.
NOTE: Due to the ongoing effects of the global coronavirus pandemic, some retailers are experiencing stock issues. The Games Guide constantly updates our pages to reflect current availability, so if the PC or part you want shows as out of stock, check back later or check out these alternatives.
Things To Consider
We understand that not everyone can find the time to build their own custom PC but when buying a prebuilt gaming PC there are just as many things to consider before making that final purchase. While these prebuilt computers for highly capable, we still need to make sure you walk away with the right PC for your needs.
Graphics Card
Whether it’s a prebuilt or a custom-built gaming computer, the graphics card is the most important component. It’s the powerhouse of any gaming computer.
Prebuilt gaming computers are technically on the high-end side of things but still have a couple of compromises here and there, one of which is the GPU. Graphics cards in these systems are going to be able to play anything in any setting when gaming in 1080p, with some of the PCs able to take on 1440p too.
Processor
When buying a prebuilt computer in this bracket, you are likely to be getting older processors. Don’t worry though, the good news is that while these may not be the latest and greatest CPUs, they are often just the previous gen, with high speeds, and solid for gaming.
RAM
Prebuilt gaming PCs is where we start to see 16GB of fast RAM included. This is great news for gamers as 16GB is becoming more and more optimal, plus it will future proof your setup a while longer than 8GB. How much RAM do you need for gaming? this depends on what you are going to be using the PC for but considering how affordable a 16GB kit of RAM is, try to always opt for this over 8GB.
Storage
Storage solutions in prebuilt gaming PCs vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, with some offering dual-storage and others large 1TB SSDs. In any case, you are likely to end up with more than enough storage to get you going but you can expect anything between 500GB and 1TB.
Performance
While the performance of these gaming PCs is solid, when building your own you could in theory include a better CPU or GPU into your computer without spending more. This means you could get even better performance for your hard-earned cash, get better in-game results, and future-proof your investment for longer.
Convenience
The main selling point behind a prebuilt gaming PC is it saves you the hassle. We understand that not everyone knows how to build a computer and may not even have the time to learn this new skill, so the convenience of a prebuilt makes a lot of sense. Of course, there are many more benefits to buying a prebuilt gaming PC from manufacturers, obviously, it takes the stresses away from finding all the compatible components, while also preventing damage to said components when the time comes to build it.
With one of these gaming PCs, you are going to be able to send it back to the manufacturer if anything goes wrong. Furthermore, if you feel you need an upgrade, suppliers will often do this for you or at least insist you send it to them for an upgrade. Manufacturers will also dish out a warranty, usually covering parts and labor for around a year but some companies offer impressive warranties and you can always spend extra on insurance, giving you a lengthy/ lifetime warranty.
These computers are from the biggest manufacturers around the world and aren’t just packaged nicely for you either, they normally stress test the system to ensure the components are working before shipping and that it performs as it should. You will also receive your system with software, usually with Windows and drivers pre-installed, so you can simply plug it in and start downloading games.

Gaming Case
So let us talk about the build then. Starting with the case, The case on this gaming setup is the Vetroo M01 Micro ATX Mesh Pink Mid-Tower gaming case with 5 fans. You can also choose between various colors but we want all pink here to flex. It is a very good case with plenty of airflows and you will feel no throttle at all. Also, fans on this thing are super quiet as well so you will not be annoyed by a constant windmill on your desk. This is a mid-tower micro ATX case so it will not take a lot of space on your desk.
Processor
After the case is where customization really starts. First up for the processor, there are two choices. For the base variant, you get an AMD Ryzen 7 5600X which is a 3.7 GHz 6 core and 12 thread CPU or you can spend some extra buck ($125) on AMD Ryzen 7 5800X which is a 3.8 GHz 8 core and 16 thread CPU. Honestly, both are fully capable of running any modern game with good FPS but the choice here is to make is, Whether you want a maxed spec Setup or the one that just fills your needs.
Ram and Motherboard
The next most important part is MotherBoard. The motherboard used in this setup is AMD B550 (AM4) motherboard. The only variation is just wifi inclusion. You can spend an extra $75 for WiFi if you need it. If not then I would suggest saving these $75 on any other part that can be useful. If wifi is necessary then spending $45 for a Wifi dongle is a wise choice. The memory option on this setup is also good. You can choose between 16GB ram or 32 GB ram for an extra $99. Both options are clocked at 3200MHz which is sweet.
Graphics Card
Now the most anticipated part of this build is the graphics card because it provides all the horsepower for gaming. There are 5 options to select from and all of them are from team green NVIDIA. For the base variant, you can get GTX 1650 4GB or for $200 more you can get GTX 1660 6GB, For $250 you can get GTX 1660 Super 6GB For $285 extra get your hands on the latest RTX 3050 8 GB or for $350 you can get RTX 3060 12GB. Although there was an option for RTX 3060ti, it is out of stock like everywhere so I doubt if it will be in stock anytime soon. Now all of these GPUs are pretty good choices at their respective budget and what type of game you are going to play. For heavier AAA titles I would suggest RTX 3060 but for medium and lower spec competitive games GTX 1660 super or the base GTX 1650 will do.
Storage
You get 512 GB M.2 SSD in the base variant which is pretty much for any modern game, But if you want more you have to spend an extra $85 for 1TB M.2 SSD. Or you can get 1 TB of hard drive storage option for $55 or 2TB of hard drive for $69.
Cooling and Visual Customization
For a cooling bundle that will look extra cool, you can select two versions. ID cooling pink flow bundle or ID cooling pink flow bundle ( Diamond Edition) both for $295. I personally think If you are going for a Cooling bundle then go for the second one. At the same price, it looks even better. Also if you want an RGB fan bundle it will cost you around $20 more for that. There is an RGB PSU shroud as well which will add flair to your PC. And I would recommend adding a touch of pink sleeved extension cables that will look good with your Pink gaming setup.
For all the base variants this setup costs $1,329 which is a good deal. Or with max specs, it costs $2,621 with all the best customization options available. There are many in-between options available and you can select them according to your needs.
Conclusion
Overall this is a very sleek and lovely package. For this price, you are getting a pink gaming setup that is powerful enough to run any game at a high setting with decent FPS and you can even stream on this. Also, it will add to the whole look of your pink room and will be very attention-grabbing. You can get your hands on this cute puppy in your desired specs form here.

Gaming Case
So let us talk about the build then. Starting with the case, The case on this gaming setup is the Dark Flash DLM21 Mesh – Pink. It is a very good case with plenty of airflows and you will feel no throttle at all. There are three 120mm fans on the front and one on the back. The three fans on the front are RGB so it is a nice touch. There is ID-Cooling Pink flow – Pink AIO on the top side of the case. Its side opens like a door and is magnetic, which is very convenient. The airflow is very good in this case and it will keep your pink PC cool throughout the gaming session. Also, the IO is very reasonable.
Processor
For the processor, there are three choices. For the base variant, you get an AMD RYzen 5 3600, and for an extra $75 you can get an AMD Ryzen 7 5600X which is a 3.7 GHz 6 core and 12 thread CPU, and for some more out of your pocket ($235) on AMD Ryzen 7 5800X which is a 3.8 GHz 8 core and 16 thread CPU. If you are going for a relatively good build I would suggest going for Ryzen 7 5600x as it is a very good value for money and you can game really well with this processor. You can also max your specs out with 5800X if you are looking for high-end gaming.
Ram and Motherboard
For the motherboard, you can get the Asus B550M-A Prime Wi-Fi & Bluetooth. This motherboard is very good. It can run all your processors and any peripherals without any issue whatsoever. For Ram, you can choose between Corsair RGB Vengeance Pro SL 16 GB 3600 MHz – White or for an extra $120 for Corsair RGB Vengeance Pro SL 32 GB 3600 MHz – White. We know Corsair Vengeance rams are top tier and if you are going to use your pink pc just for casual gaming go for the 16 GB variant. But if you want to play AAA titles then 32GB ram is an obvious choice here.
Graphics Card
Here you can have plenty of variety with graphics cards according to your needs. The default option is from Team red’s Asus RX6500XT. you can also use NVIDIAs GTX 1650 which will give you a little $45 more to spend or if you are going for a modern RTX NVIDIA card you can get RTX 3050, RTX 3060, RTX 3060ti, RTX 3070 for $240, $320, $420 and $765 respectively. For a casual gamer, RTX 3070 might be overkill so I suggest sticking to the default option or RTX 3060. But for those who want to play AAA games and stream, They can choose between RTX 3060 ti and RTX 3070. For default options, you can get pretty good FPS on 1080p-High or even Ultra. 3070 may be able to game at 4K high or ultra without breaking a sweat.
Storage
The storage on this pink gaming computer is NVMe which is better than M.2. You get Transcend MTE220S 512 GB NVMe SSD by default which will lower your loading time in games and make casual use experience fast and smooth. This amount of storage is good for many modern titles but if you do not feel like it then you can upgrade it to Transcend MTE220S 1 TB NVMe SSD which is more than enough. You can add HDD to your system. Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD will cost $45 and Seagate Barracuda 2 TB HDD will cost $70.
BEST peripherals for a complete setup:
The best thing here is that you can include a monitor and peripherals to complete your pink gaming setup. You can get AOC 24″ 24G2 144 Hz IPS for an extra $315 and within the same price, you can also opt-in for AOC 24″ C24G2 165 Hz VA Curve. There are other size options as well. There are 27 inches and 32 inches, Flat and curved monitors available. You can further upgrade to 43 inches 47 panels but it will cost a lot more. And thinking that even if you use RTX 3070 with Ryzen 7 5800X it will hardly achieve 100 FPS in AAA titles on 4k let alone 144Hz. So it is not worth spending an extra fifteen hundred dollars.
You can also include a complete peripheral set containing
Asus Flare Keyboard, Asus Gladius II Mouse, Asus Fusion Headset, Asus Sheath Mouse Mat
This complete set will cost you $660, but it is worth spending for a complete look of your pink gaming setup. Also, it will be nice if you include Custom pink sleeves as it will make cables blend in the theme as well.
Conclusion
Overall this complete package is very attention-grabbing and you can select your desired budget and performance goal with that specific customization. It will be money well spent. Also, You do not have to go through the hassle of looking for peripherals and monitors on various websites (if you do not have them already) as MANSA has free delivery and they also give 3 years warranty. Here are some official benchmarks by Mansa for their system
Base Specifications FPS Benchmarks (1920X1080)
Apex Legends (Max): 85 – 95 FPS
Fortnite (Epic): 85 – 95 FPS
Division 2 (Medium): 80-85 FPS

VISUAL FEATURES
The case used in this configuration is a cute pink iconic OMG case. It is a mini-tower micro ATX gaming case. The most noticeable thing about this case is OMG written mesh on the front and cute adorable Pandas etched on the front, Giving it a perfect cute look in pink. Not just looks but airflow in this case is also quite good. You can mount 140mm fans on the front, 120mm on the back, and 240mm on the top. It can also be used for radiators. There is tons of RGB in this case everywhere and the side tempered glass takes full advantage of this enhancing looks of the setup.
Performance Customization
The performance of this device is nothing out of ordinary. It knows who is it targeted for. For those who want to game at a budget or those who are not willing to spend too much on a gaming setup, You can choose between intel i3 11th generation and intel i3 10th generation. Also, you can get a pretty standard micro ATX motherboard with this. There is nothing wrong with it, It helps in budget control. There are two options to go with RAM either 16GB or DDR4 or 32 GB. Either way, it is pretty good and you will not feel any stutters. The choice of RAM may depend upon your use case.
There are a lot of options for GPU as well. You can choose from GT 1030, GTX 1050 ti, GTX 1650, or GTX 1660 and each of them will add to the overall cost of your setup. Considering your overall specs GTX 1650 might be a wise choice to go with.
SSD on this system can be customized as well from 240 GB to 960GB, There are tons of options to go with. Or you can completely leave that option as it is, without an SSD ( I would never recommend it). You can also choose between 1 TB and 2 TB of mechanical Hard Drive.
Overall this is a very solid build at a very congested budget, But compromises are made. But still worth Checking out.
