You can play Fortnite via Xbox Cloud Gaming without purchasing an Xbox Game Pass. A compatible device, a high-speed Internet connection, and a free Microsoft account are all you need.

Requirement

The Xbox Cloud Gaming version of Fortnite is only accessible through browsers; it cannot be launched from the Xbox Cloud Gaming mobile app, Xbox app for Windows, or the Xbox console game library. For a list of supported web browsers, visit the Xbox support website.

Access

Yes! Simply make sure that the Epic account you use on other platforms is linked to your Xbox/Microsoft account. Your progress will carry over to other platforms where you use your Epic account if your accounts are linked.

Progress Transfer On Other Platform

All current Fortnite game modes, including Battle Royale, Zero Build, Impostors, Save the World, and user-created games, are playable on Windows devices through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Save the World cannot be played on mobile devices or tablets with Xbox Cloud Gaming. All other available Fortnite game modes can be played.
